About Emerge
Mission
At Emerge Therapy, I believe healing begins when you're seen, heard, and held without judgement. My mission is to provide a safe, compassionate space where individuals can explore their inner worlds, release what no longer serves them, and Emerge into their most authentic selves.
Inspired by the powerful symbol of the butterfly, I honor the courage it takes to go inward, and the beauty that unfolds when you’re ready to Emerge.
About You
You’re a young to middle aged adult who has done a lot of inner-reflecting. You’re self-aware, insightful, and you understand where your patterns come from, but confirming that alone hasn’t been enough to create lasting change.
You may be feeling overwhelmed by relational or emotional stress, struggling with symptoms of anxiety, or you are carrying the impact of attachment wounds. Maybe you’ve experienced single-incident trauma, complex trauma, or a series of experiences that taught your nervous system to stay on high alert.
If you’re tired of repeating patterns and you’re ready to move from insight to embodied change, (to actually feel and act differently, not just understand why) you’re in the right place.
A Little More About Me
My path to becoming a clinician began when I was sitting on the “other side of the therapy couch.” My therapeutic journey is what led me to this work. This desire urged me to further my education in the mental health field. After obtaining a masters degree from Capella University, I continued down the clinical path to become a licensed clinician in PA. I am now also trained in EMDR and offer this treatment both in person and virtually.
I believe that therapy works best when it feels real. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a touch of wit and humor into the room, because healing doesn’t have to be sterile or intimidating. I draw from multiple facets of education, clinical knowledge, ongoing training, and lived experience, allowing me to meet each client as a whole person rather than just a diagnosis.
Outside of the office, I’m an avid sports fan (I’m always happy to talk a little smack about your team), I love a good DIY or home project, and value time spent with friends and family. And if you’re a dog person, especially a golden retriever lover, we’ll get along just fine. My boy Reggie will most likely make an appearance in our sessions!
